World Cup affecting Trilive sales

Trilive, Roxy-Pacific Holdings’ 222-unit condominium project in Kovan witnessed a slow start, with 30 of the 80 units released snapped up since sales began last Friday, said media reports.

“The market is challenging. And potential buyers also seem to be distracted by the World Cup,” said Roxy-Pacific Executive Chairman Teo Hong Lim.

Average price at the freehold project stood at $1,550 psf. after early-bird discounts, while absolute prices start from about $730,000 for a 463 sq ft one-bedroom unit with study.

Prices of two-bedroom units start from about $870,000, $960,000 for a two-bedroom dual-key unit and $1.3 million for a three-bedroom dual-key apartment. Four-bedroom dual-key units go from $1.65 million.

Sizes of the units range between 463 sq ft for a one-bedder with study and 1,195 sq ft for a four-bedder dual-key unit.

“In the current climate, private home sales are likely to be slow and steady, though not too alarming. At times like these, product differentiation and a developer’s skill-sets come into play,” Teo said.
