The Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) has been conducting focus group discussions with salespersons to gather their views for developing guidelines and policies, according to the Council’s e-newsletter.
This is a new initiative which started in the first half of 2014, and serves as a platform for CEA to hear from salespersons on the issues they face while performing estate agency work.
Between February and August, four focus group discussions were held, and attended by around 80 salespersons from various estate agents.
“They provided useful feedback on various areas ranging from ideas on commendations for salespersons and entry requirements of salespersons to the Continuing Professional Development scheme,” the Council’s e-newsletter said.
Two focus group discussions will be held on 15 October and 19 November.
